In my experience, I've worked on a number of projects - from laying out patient education brochures, to animating flash banners, to directing television commercials, to even designing and coding entire web sites from scratch. I've been able to work on some projects with complete artistic freedom, but for others I've had to keep within strict brand guidelines. I've also worked on many different pharmaceutical accounts - which often bring very strict guidelines as well.
